With the option to take courses at two excellent universities in Mendoza, students on the Mendoza Universities Program can tailor their course schedule to meet their diverse academic needs. The Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNC), located in beautiful San Martín park, and the Universidad de Congreso (UC), located in the heart of downtown Mendoza, offer two uniquely Argentine academic experiences for IFSA-Butler students.

We also offer special opportunities such as First Generation College Student scholarships and a Fill the GAP study abroad savings program that matches contributions up to $1,000. Further information about IFSA-Butler Mendoza specific to Wheaton College students

Wheaton College is committed to providing students with opportunities to broaden their understanding and vision beyond the borders of this campus and this country. We work in collaboration with carefully selected partner institutions around the world to support our students as they prepare to study abroad and while they are overseas. Students must apply to Wheaton's Center for Global Education as well as the institution through which they plan to study abroad. The most up-to-date information can be found on the program provider's website above. 

**Due to Argentine visa deadlines and requirements, IFSA-Butler recommends that non-U.S. citizens apply early to this program.

Note Calendar Differences in Southern Hemisphere:                 
U.S. Fall = Semester 2: August - December                            U.S. Spring = Semester 1: March - July          

Admission Requirements:
Four semesters of university level Spanish or the equivalent. All courses are taught in Spanish.

Courses & Credits:
Students enroll in four to five courses each semester. The mandatory Spanish Language and Argentine Culture course is combined with university courses. 15 to 16 U.S. semester hours will earn 4.0 Wheaton credits.

Housing & Meals:
Students live with families providing two meals per day Sunday through Friday and one meal Saturday.

Other Items to Note:
- All students accepted to a study abroad program will be assessed a $500 non-refundable confirmation fee at the time of final confirmation of study abroad participation.
- Students are not charged the technology, laundry, or student activities fees while on a study abroad program.
- Fees billed by Wheaton will be charged to students on their regular Wheaton College student account during regular billing cycles (July/December).
